About the Creek House
The Creek House is located on Oldakers Place in Ansted, WV at the end of our private road – The large back deck and lower patio area overlooks the creek and steep hillside that leads into the New River – Out back you will find the grill, supplies, tables and seating, all provided, an outdoor shower is also available
We are very dog welcoming and provide all the supplies you may need, including the treats! A securely fenced dog run is attached to the deck allowing full access to your pet – an amazing private back yard!
Spacious open plan living room with a large fire TV, and a fully stocked kitchen complete with a double oven and dishwasher – Comfortable furniture, dining table and desk/work area – The walk-in laundry room is complete with full-sized washer and dryer, and includes all the necessities – the rec-room (converted attached garage) is specifically designed for gatherings as well as storing kayaks, bikes, climbing gear and any other equipment, a TV is included and there are plenty of indoor and outdoor games for the entire family!

Your kitchen is stocked with everything you may need for preparing any meal, all cookware, utensils, service for four and then some! – Small appliances include crock pot, blender, mixer, coffee pots, toaster and more, a double oven and electric range along with a dishwasher
A large spa-like bathroom with an amazing full-sized walk-in shower and all of the extras, and of course an ample supply of linens and towels are included
Bedroom one boasts a comfortable king-sized bed, a 32” Fire TV, a fully equipped closet with plenty of extra pillows and blankets, storage, hampers, ceiling fans/lights and lamps and room darkening shades…the second bedroom holds the same with a comfortable queen sized bed, and a full sized roll-away bed is also available
Located behind the home is a large private and secure upper porch area with an outdoor shower, a fully fenced and attached dog run, the lower patio is equipped with more seating, grill, fire pit and supplies – Out front a spacious full lawn if you prefer a space for playing with the kids, plenty of outdoor toys and games are provided for young and old!
The attached garage has been converted to a rec-room complete with seating, 32” TV, darts and other board games…a perfect place for storing your bikes, kayaks and any other outdoor gear, cleaning towels and rags are also provided
The home has three parking spaces at the front door with a huge paved overflow parking lot on the property, perfect for ATV and boat trailers, campers or guests!
You will have access to a well-stocked supply of common daily necessities and sometimes forgotten items, many additional items and services are available upon request, dog sitting, walking and additional cleaning are a few examples…please contact us with any of your needs.

Walking distance to Hawks Nest State Park and Trail heads, ~5 miles from New River Gorge Bridge and the New River Gorge National Park, AOTG Climbing, Rafting, Ziplines and much more! – Countless other parks and attractions are all nearby – You will about 8 miles from Fayetteville! – Visit the “anstedweb” for even more local details.
